At her home in Montparnasse, Mlle. Broch offers private French lessons for students at all levels at very reasonable prices. For Beginners:   We will develop your conversational skills emphasizing good pronunciation and a sound knowledge of grammar. Our exercices in translation will further develop your linguistic skills. For Advanced Students:   By reading and discussing selected material on french art, sculpture, literature, the Impressionist painters and Parisian history, we will expand your vocabulary and enhance your appreciation of French culture. Additionally, written exercices in translation and, also, original composition, will improve your writing skills. Mlle. Broch uses a teaching method which brings the French language to life by drawing upon her own background as a violinist, sculptor and devotee of art history. She engages the student by exploring French cultural life and history through both oral and written expression. Each private session with a student focuses on the reading and résumé of a text drawn from a variety of contemporary publications. Beginners are carefully coached through exercices in recommended text books.
